David Sans PhD, MBA has more than 10 years of healthcare-centric experience in corporate development, consulting, and investment banking. He held management positions at Pfizer, ImClone, Accenture and Summer Street Research Partners. In these positions he was responsible for the launch of successful marketing campaigns, like Macugen, and the development of cancer drugs in combination with radiotherapy like Erbitux for squamous head and neck cancers. Dr. Sans holds degrees from the Jesuit School of Chemical Engineers, Instituto Quimico de Sarria, Barcelona; a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Organic Chemistry from ETH in Zurich; an MBA in Financial Modeling and Business Law from the New York Jesuit School of Business at Fordham University; and Series 7 certification by the Securities Exchange Commissioner of New York. David is the owner and founder of Althia Capital LLC a FINRA SIPIC Healthcare Investment firm based in downtown Manhattan interested in early stage companies.
